What is the sound of one hand clapping? I don’t know, and neither do you, but Brent does. He won’t tell anyone, though, no matter how you pester. That’s how Brent is. Deep. Wise. Good. And wildly talented, of course. Gehring earned his MFA and then began to teach. He has taught college art classes for twenty years, wonderful years for his students, who are deeply appreciative of his talent and sincere devotion to teaching. He presently teaches at Dixie College in Saint George, Utah. He also is lead sculptor for a company that specializes in large architectural sculpture, including Las Vegas hotels. He does smaller pieces as well, equally wonderful. In fact, you’d better contact him and obtain a piece, because it’s what you’ve been missing in your life. His most recent show was titled ‘Water in the Desert’, a joint show with his wife Fae Ellsworth. (see artist links) Contact information is below.
