Welcome to the Utah Calligraphic Artists page! We are an organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the art of hand-lettering. Innovation and exciting developments in the art of hand-lettering are explored , while maintaining a respect for and a preservation of historical technique. Every month we meet to explore technique and develop ideas regarding letters and letter arts. We incorporate what we’ve learned into a book or missal. These books are of sufficient quality to merit display in a variety of venues throughout the Salt Lake Valley.

Christmas Social on November 15, 2003 We enjoyed tasty treats, perused a large collection of available merchandise, and participated in many fun demonstrations.

Mary, this is a rough draft—obviously there needs to be a much better example of calligraphy, rather than the dumb old monoprint up on the left, but that was about the only letter image I had handy. Also, why don’t you pick a font you like for the words on the page? Do you want something simpler? Like plain old Times Roman?
